Breaking Free is a journey that leads you through a study to discover the transforming and healing power of freedom in Jesus Christ. This is an in-depth women's Bible study by Beth Moore focusing on God's intention for you to know and believe Him, and to experience His peace and healing power using Scripture to help identify spiritual strongholds in your life, no matter how big or small. Ladies Ministry is sponsoring this ten week personal, interactive Bible study on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9 pm beginning August 5, at the home of Debra Damman. The cost is $15 for the member book. Contact Debra at debra@quantumdigital.com for more details or to sign-up and pre-order your book.

Our summer services have been blessed by the Lord, and I am confident today will be no different. Open your heart and allow the presence of God to refresh and renew you. If you are in need of a miracle, believe that God hears when we pray.
Our junior quizzers are at the national junior quizzing tournament in St. Louis this week. Please pray for their safety and that they will quiz well. These trips are expensive, so if you would like to make a donation to the quiz fund, please mark your offering accordingly.
August 1 we will begin a Spanish language Sunday school class. Israel and Maura Medina will be leading the class, so if you would like to be in the class or know someone who would, please contact the Medinas. The class will meet at 10 am in the room adjacent to the kitchen.

Our Children’s Ministry conducted a fantastic vacation Bible School last week. We registered over 200 children—a new record—and several received the Holy Spirit and were renewed in the Holy Spirit. VBS is one of the highlights each year, and our Children’s Ministry staff does an excellent job. We appreciate the dedication of all the workers and coordinators. Special thanks goes to Priscilla Reid for directing the event.
We concluded our mid-summer vesper services last Wednesday night with a stirring time of prayer. Let us maintain a consistent habit of prayer. In addition to personal times of prayer, the prayer rooms are open before evening services. Everyone is encouraged to attend at least one Friday-night prayer meeting per month.
