Today we are blessed with the ministry of Evangelist Luke Levine. He is an experienced minister of the gospel, and you will be challenged and blessed. Although this is a holiday weekend, we are believing God for great things. If you have never received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking with other tongues (Acts 2:1-4, 27-39), open your heart in faith to receive. If you need a miracle, today is the day!

Special Speaker Johnny Celey's lesson from Wednesday, 05/25

Four hundred years ago a book was published that proved to be the most important book ever published in the English language: the King James Version of the Bible. On Wednesday, May 25, join us as we tell the fascinating story of how the Bible, originally written in Hebrew and Greek, came to be translated into English. The King James Version and the English Bibles that preceded it were not just the result of pious people desiring their fellow English speakers to have access to the Bible in their own language, but were the product of a complex drama of English piety mixed with English politics, nationalism, and entrepreneurs wanting to make a buck. The most important words a person will ever read or hear are recorded in the Bible. Join us as we celebrate what English speakers of earlier centuries called the “Englishing” of the Bible.
On Wednesday, June 1, there will be a break-out session for the second session of Bible study teacher training. The class will be interactive and will include materials to take with you for review. Contact Reid Mendez or Jerome Williams for more details.

Today is a great day to receive a miracle! If you need to receive the Holy Spirit or a miracle of healing or deliverance, reach out to God in faith. He is able to deliver.
Next Sunday we will be blessed by the ministry of Evangelist Luke Levine. Come expecting to receive from the Lord and bring a guest. Next weekend is Memorial Day weekend, and many will be out of town. However, if you are in town, please be here. The Ladies Ministry will be serving a coffee house fundraiser after the evening service.
After the morning service today, I will travel to Scotland to teach at Harvest Bible College. I will return Friday. Brother Bernard will be preaching tonight. Wednesday night we have a special presentation on the English Bible. This year marks the four hundredth birthday of the King James Version. We want to take this opportunity to talk about the Bible. Johnny Celey will be teaching the class. Brother Celey is on staff as the pastoral assistant. He is also the editor of the South Texas Vision magazine. He is a seminary graduate and has a personal interest in Bible translations.
