The annual New Life Christmas Play will be on Sunday, December 4, during the evening service. The children will begin practices next week on Sundays and Wednesdays, until the performance. An information center is located in the gym foyer that parents are encouraged to visit when picking up their children from KidSpace today.
Please join us for All-Church prayer on Friday, September 30, in the sanctuary. Prayer is come-and-go from 8 to 10 pm. The focus of prayer will be for our Fall Revival in October. Youth and parents of youth are encouraged to participate in the youth event.
Youth ministry is going on a scavenger hunt, Friday, September 30, from 8 to 11 pm. Scavenger hunts are always fun, they involve everyone, and awaken the detective and adventurer within. Parents, we need you to join us for this fun-filled evening that will have you laughing in tears. It will also be a great time to connect with the teenagers of the church as we split up in teams and squeeze our way into the tightest spots in Austin. Don't worry! You have the easy part: taking pictures. Location: New Life Campus and the city of Austin.
The Life Anchors are having an ice cream social on Saturday, October 1, from 5 to 8 pm, in the New Life gym. Bring a finger food, you favorite ice cream with toppings, and a game. Contact the Dobynses, Tribbles, or Carolyn Kinnibrugh for more details.
The Mom’s Group will begin a new study The Keeper by Marthalee Lyman. The Keeper is about a wife’s role as a keeper in her home: spiritually and emotionally. Cost for the book is $14. The study will be Fridays at 10 am, beginning October 14. Contact Sara Bernard for more details and to pre-order your book.
The men’s ministry will begin a new eight-week study on October 4. The topic of study will be end-time Prophecy. More information is available in the foyer.

We are looking forward to our upcoming revival October 5, 7, & 9 with Evangelist Luke Levine. I am encouraging everyone to take a weekly time of fasting and frequent times of prayer for our revival. There is an all-church prayer meeting this Friday night from 8-10 pm. If you are not participating in the youth activity, I encourage you to come and pray as your schedule permits.
Brother Kenneth Haney, former general superintendent of the UPCI, has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Please pray for Brother Haney.
I am excited to report that we are making great progress on our building program. Construction on the foyer area will begin this week. The metal sheeting has been installed on two sides, the roof panels will be installed soon, and we will begin framing inside walls in a few weeks. Please keep praying and remain faithful in your giving.
