Easter was not the end of the story . . .
Jesus commanded His followers not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, for . . . you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now. And . . . you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you" (Acts 1:4-8).
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, Jesus followers were all with one accord in one place . . . and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance" (Acts 2:1-4).
Join us on May 27 as we celebrate the coming of Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. We celebrate this day because God is still filling people with His Spirit today just like He did on that day nearly two thousand years ago.
You can be filled with the Spirit! You can receive power to live a new life!

Children are a significant part of our church, and it is with great joy that we dedicate several children to the Lord today. By dedicating these children, we are made aware of our communal obligation to maintain a church culture that is conducive for the spiritual growth of our children.
Tonight we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. This is a tremendous celebration of the victory won by Jesus Christ on our behalf. It is a time for personal reflection, faith, and transformation.

“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. . . . And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart” (Acts 2:42-46).
