Drop Every Thing and Rally: Saturday of Service
Saturday, May 12, has been designated Saturday of Service. This is a community service opportunity event open to everyone at New Life and coordinated by our Men’s and Ladies Ministries. Three separate opportunities are available: they are (1) Texas Build-a-Ramp project, open to men, ladies, and youth. There is no limit to the number of volunteers needed, and experience is unnecessary. The more volunteers, the more ramps we can build. (2) Micah 6 Food Panty. There is a limited amount of volunteers needed. (3) Christ Child Society (CCS). Unlimited volunteers accepted. Possible opportunities would include sewing, layette, and putting together care packages. Contact Jerry Noble or Regina Noble for more information and to sign up today.
Bible Quizzing Fundraiser
The New Life Bible Quizzers are selling homemade salsa and creamy jalapeño dip during the month of May. Pints are only $6, and quarts are only $12. Please contact a quizzer, Janet Kinney, or Regena Dumas to place an order today.
