STX Youth Camp
Campers attending the South Texas District Camp June 4-8 in Columbus, TX, will need to arrive at New Life by noon on Monday, June 4. When arriving to drop off your camper or to park, please enter the campus from the west/Coronet side of the parking lot, and keep to this area of the parking lot or park on the side street. Build-a-Ramp
The Build-a-Ramp community service project, sponsored by Men’s Ministry, has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 9, at 8 am. This opportunity is open to men, women, and youth. Contact Jerry Noble for more details.
Men’s Breakfast
The men of New Life are having breakfast together at the 620 Café and Bakery in Round Rock on Saturday, June 16, at 9 am. If you plan on attending, please notify Jerry Noble or Robert Collier no later than Wednesday, June 13.
Hyphen and Singles 1: Dollars and Sense
Hyphen (young adults 18-24) and Singles 1 (25-35) are invited to Dollars and Sense on Saturday, June 9, from 10 am to noon, at The Microsoft Store located in the Domain. This is a program designed to prepare you for a solid financial foundation. Topics for discussion will include God and My Money, Understanding Credit: How It Affects Your Life, Your Credit Score, and Your Credit Report, and Making the Most of Your Money by Creating a Spending and Savings Plan. Singles 2: Dinner
The Singles 2 (36+) will be meeting for dinner at 6:30 pm on Saturday, June 9, at Pok-e-Jo’s located at 2121 Parmer Lane. Contact Cecelia Wampler for more details.
Community Chaplain Training
New Life will host chaplain training on Friday, June 22, and Saturday, June 23. Training will be facilitated by Dr. Sidney Poe, Director, Chaplain Education, and Rev. William N. Dillion, Chaplain Commander, Occupational Chaplains of America. Registration is $125/person; $100 for second person in family. - Yolanda Frausto was diagnosed with a mass on her brain when a medical provider saw an irregularity on an X-ray. A later test revealed no mass!
