Men’s Fall Bible Study Kick-Off
Men, you are invited to an evening of fellowship and games at Jerry Noble’s home on Thursday, September 2, at 7 pm. We will introduce the upcoming Bible study and future men’s studies. Flyers with directions are available in the foyer.
Pie Contest
Pie connoisseurs, the Singles Ministry is in need of your help. On September 19, after evening service, a pie contest will be held in the gym. Pies will be judged on deliciousness, creativity, and visual appeal. Break out your favorite pie recipe for entry, or if judging pies is more your flavor, we need you too! General Conference
The United Pentecostal Church International’s 86th Annual General Conference will be in Houston this year at the Toyota Conference Center, September 29 – October 3. There is a $50 pre-registration fee for the conference through August 31. After August 31 the registration fee is $75, or a one-service pass can be purchased for $15 per person. General Conference Choir
If you are not currently a member of the New Life Choir, but are interested in singing with the choir at General Conference September 30 and October 1, contact Jared or Rachel Wood.
New Life Leadership Institute
The Leadership Institute will offer Old Testament Survey on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 10 pm. Class is scheduled from September 7 to November 9. Old Testament Survey discusses the background, context, authorship, theme, and basic message of the 39 books of the Old Testament. The class costs $95. More information and registration forms are available in the foyer or contact Paul Urban.
