Family Ministry invites everyone to their annual picnic at Brushy Creek Lake Park on Saturday, May 1, from 11 am until it's over.
Suggested items to bring:
drinks, main dish, meat to grill, side dishes, dessert, etc. Paper plates, cups, forks, and napkins will be provided.
Activities:
Fellowship and food, volleyball, playscape, horseshoes, table games, water park for the kids (don't forget sunscreen and a towel). Other things to consider bringing: kites, bikes, table games, extra chairs
Special activities and fun for children from 1:00-2:00 pm led by our own Children's Ministry
Park Amenities:
Brushy Creek Lake Park is a 90-acre park. Facilities include: a nice playground, a water playscape for the kids, hike and bike trail, nature trail, exercise station, three pavilions, picnic tables and BBQ grills, sand volleyball court, fishing pier, wildlife observation area
Directions:
The park is just off of Parmer, north of 620. From the intersection of Parmer and 620, take Parmer north past 620 to Brushy Creek Road. (It is about 2-3 miles.) There will be a Shell gas station at the intersection. Turn right onto Brushy Creek Road. Turn right into the first park entrance and park in the first parking lot on the right.
