The South Texas Revival Conference was greatly blessed of God. The preaching was powerful and so was the presence of the Lord.
Our praise team, under the direction of Jared and Rachel Wood, did a great job in leading the worship on Friday morning. My wife and I received many compliments from ministers concerning them. Our musicians also assisted in the worship Friday night, and some of our youth sang in the district youth choir.
Our beginner and junior quiz teams worked hard and did well during the district tournament. The beginner team won second place and will be going to the national tournament in Branson, Missouri.
In the voting process, the ministers of the district asked me to serve two more years as district superintendent. In turn, I ask for your prayers that God will grant me wisdom, direction, and anointing to fulfill this responsibility.
Today, I am on vacation with my wife and my daughter, Lindsey. We will be back in service Wednesday night. Our speaker this morning is our associate pastor, Rodney Shaw. Our speaker tonight is Greg Starks, our discipleship director. Their ministries will be a blessing to you.
