What Is a Podcast?
In short, an audio podcast is simply an .mp3 audio file–in our case, a sermon–that is delivered to you and automatically downloaded for you by podcast software, such as iTunes.
The great thing is that it's convenient. You don't have to continually return to our site to get the latest sermon. The latest one is delivered to you. You just open your podcast software–your podcatcher–and enjoy.
Oh yeah, the other great thing is that it's also free!

How to Subscribe to a Podcast
You'll first need a podcatcher to receive a podcast. iTunes works great and is free.
If you don't have iTunes, you can go to Apple's website and download it for free.
Once you have iTunes, go to our podcast page and click the link to automatically subscribe to our podcast. A pop up box may appear when you click the link. Click "Launch application." Your iTunes will then open and automatically download the most recent podcast. You will also be able to download other recent podcasts. Every time we post a new sermon on our site, it's automatically downloaded for you.
There are other good podcatchers available, of course, such as Zune, Juice, or Doppler.
If you choose to use something other than iTunes, to subscribe to our podcast just copy and paste our feed URL into your podcast software. The URL is http://www.newlifeupc.org/?feed=rss2&category_name=podcasts.
With Juice, for example, under Tools on the menu bar there is an option to Add a Feed. Select that and past our feed URL into the blank. That's it.
